BRIDAL HAIR & MAKE-UP

With all eyes on you and everyone taking photographs, a flawless face, beautiful hair and a radiant appearance will not only make you look stunning, but will also give you confidence for your special day.

Once you have confirmed you would like me to do your Wedding, we will arrange a date for the trial. I recommend that you do this as early as possible, so if you do need to grow your hair for a certain style, you will have plenty of time to do so. It's a good idea to arrange your dress fitting for the same day so you can see the overall look (have your trial in the morning and the dress fitting in the afternoon).

I always use the top of the range professional hair and make up products such as; Charlotte Tilbury, Illamasque, Bobbi Brown, MAC, Narrs, Chanel, YSL, Laura Mercier, Clinique, Estée Lauder, Urban Decay, Benefit. L’Oréal, Wella, Tigi, Bumble & Bumble. 

WEDDING HAIR & MAKE-UP TRIAL

Anything is possible, regardless of whether you prefer natural hair and make up or a full glam vintage look, nothing is impossible. Do bring any hair decorations, tiaras and wedding veils you would like to wear with you. I do also have a selection of on trend hair ornaments that you can try if you haven’t decided yet. If you are not sure what you want, a picture of your dress would be helpful. That will help me to give you some ideas on what will best suit you for that style. I have a selection of 100% real hair, Remy Pieces that you can try and purchase if it is decided you need more volume and length in your hair to achieve the desired hairstyle.

 

The Wedding Trial normally takes 2-3 hours but we will continue until you are 100% happy.  All of my hair and make up designs will last the whole day and into the night, so you will look picture perfect for the longest time. This comes from my experience of working on many films, in which keeping a look for long hours is essential. Once you are happy with your finished look I will photograph you and provide detailed notes about what I have done and what products I have used, so that I can recreate this to the smallest detail on your Special Day. I can also discuss your bridesmaids look too.

The trial takes place at my studio in Petersfield. Having the correct lighting whilst doing your hair and make up is very important. The whole experience is fun and a chance for you to just sit back and let me treat you as one of my stars!

WEDDING DAY
HAIR & MAKE-UP

On your special day, I will arrive at your desired venue about 40 minutes before your given hair and make up time, to set up my equipment. 

 

After your Wedding Trial, you would have received a time plan for yourself and the Bridal party, allocating certain hair and make up times for you all. If you are having photos before the ceremony, this will be allocated too. I will always start with the Bridesmaids first and then the Mother of the Bride. I like to give my Brides the chance to be made up last, as they need to be picture perfect to the very end!  

 

I pride myself on being very relaxed and efficient during your make over, this comes with working on many Film and TV productions and keeping my actors calm and relaxed before they step out in front of the cameras. Once everyone is ready, I will carry out final checks on everybody and help with the attaching of your veil if required.

 

This is your special day and I will do everything possible to make sure everything runs smoothly, so just sit back, relax and enjoy!
